In my previous role and before i was made redundnt, i worked for an IT services company for one of their clients. I never thought of the consequences of this until I started to look at hourly paid jobs for the same scenario. I am wondering if these relationships make an employee vunerable to unemployement if they have quality of work or relationship issues.
Has anyone ever found this type of relationship advantageous or disadvantages. I am inmterested in:
- understanding the pros and cons of this way of working
- Whether it is a good career move
- What questions i need to ask myself before signing up to this sort of role/relationship.
So i do not find myself signed up to a service provdier with no assignment and no wage for an unknown period of time.
Any views/comments/feedback/experiences welcome.
