Bottom line: Is there a way to sync an iTouch with your Outlook calendar without using iTunes?
I just got an iTouch for Christmas and am wondering if I can get rid of my PDA and use iTouch to sync with my Outlook calendar. The problem is that in my organization we have "locked" computers which can only install scripted software. iTunes is not available. Is there any other way to get the items from my Outlook calendar onto my iTouch?

Currently, the only hack I can come up with to try would be if you have Outlook 2007 and can set it up to Sync To Google Calendar:

Then you should be able to see your Google Calendar via WiFi and Safari on the Touch:

There might be more options after February when Apple releases the SDK for the iPhone ... it is suppose to include support for the Touch also.
Good luck!

What's this SDK?
I got an iPod Touch for my birthday and LOVE it! just wish my office had wi-fi!
I loaded the January widget package, which allows me to download my Google mail into the device and read it offline. Sweet! 8)

OIC... will be interesting to see what ppl come up with. There are already some cool online iPhone apps. Again, the wi-fi issue. :? Can only use that part at home right now.
Here's something cool, though... using the new Maps widget, I can have it generate directions while I'm on a wi-fi connection, and then close the widget. The directions are downloaded and remain available as long as I don't try to do anything new with the widget. A poor techie's GPS!

Sorry Terri for the geek speak! Thanks Will for clearing things up.
For those interested, this is probably a good place to learn more about the the current (and maybe future) development options for the iPhone and the Touch:

Thanks! I'll give this option a try and let you know how it works.
