Hello All!
Yesterday I had an phone interview. I used the Interview series podcast to prepare and mailed my hand writen thank you note yesterday. According to the series the next step is to call a week from the interview. Next Friday of course is the day after Thanksgiving. I think that I should still call and leave a thank you message even though I know he will not be there. Anybody disagree? Or should I hold off until I know he will be in the office the following week? Thank for any comments
I would wait
It could just be me, but if I got a VM from a candidate on the weekend or well after hours I'd think he was trying to avoid speaking to me in person. I'd put your situation into the same category. A Monday call will have the same effect, without any of the potential negatives. Again, this is just based on my experience. Best of luck - Sam
