I was wondering what are the details one would look for in an offer to be able to compare apple to apple.

Here are some ideas

  1. Have you met your new boss? What is she like?  Compare to others.
  2. does the company do something you believe in strongly?
  3. is the company growing?
  4. does the company provide you with opportunities to grow?  passively?  Actively?
  5. Salary
  6. Benefits
  7. Convenience (commute etc.)
  8. Flex time? Part time? WFH? Uniforms? Safety? Location? Desk environment? Friends who work there?  Other things that may be important to you

Comparing offers first starts in gathering the info on the types of items that are important to you.
