When do I mention a big family vacation when I don't even have an offer yet.  I am now in the 4th round of the interview process (total 5).  I'm excited about the company and hope to get the position, but I have an important family reunion in January that I cannot miss.  I would probably pass on the job if they would not allow me to go.  Any advice on when to mention this so I can go and keep the position?

Thank you for your input.

Wait until you have an offer.  Then you can discuss terms of employment.

Until then, say nothing about this.  If this is a professional organization, they've seen this before and it will work out.  I've seen it happen both as the newly hired guy and as the hiring manager.  It's not as big a deal as it seems to you right now.

 I'll second John's comments.
