For the last 6 years I have worked for a small (6 people or less) construction company. Last night, the owner/boss informed me that he is closing the business, effective immediately. He and I have a great relationship and he has setup an introduction for me with another company. The COO of said company is expecting a call from me in a day and a half.
The other side of the coin is a joint venture with a long time business associate. Both of us have been looking for just such an opportunity for several years. This option, while a bit risky, is my chosen direction.
In the event that the joint venture does not work out, I wish to make the most of the introduction, in an attempt to leave the door open, so to speak. Can anyone recommend specific Manager/Career Tools podcasts that may assist toward this goal?
