Matthew Bintliff - Director, Field Training & Development - Novo Nordisk

In his role Matthew is responsible for changing organizational behavior and leading a training team. He has had a successful career in sales, sales management, and has a passion for building stronger, more effective sales teams. He has also developed and facilitated performance management curriculum for all managers within Novo Nordisk - building skills and educating leaders on successful practices for coaching high performing teams. Matthew, his wife Amber, and their son Shia live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Their family has relocated several times but are staying put while Shia completes his senior year of high school. Their daughter, Shadai, lives in Seattle and is a fully functioning grown up.

David Johnson - Program Director New Shepard Propulsion Module – Blue Origin

David leads the integrated teams responsible for the design and production of the New Shepard Propulsion Module as well as working alongside its maintenance and flight operations teams. Blue Origin uses this fleet of reusable New Shepard vehicles to fly astronauts and payloads, as well as demonstrate new technologies that reduce the cost of access to space and bring humanity closer to living and working in space. David came to Blue Origin in early 2020 after a 16-year career at Orbital Sciences and Northrop Grumman, where he served in several senior leadership positions including Program Director, Strike Weapons and Deputy Program Director for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense Boost Vehicle. As the Program Director for a portfolio of Strike Weapon programs, David’s team developed, integrated, and tested new technology and integrated next generation weapon systems to counter emerging threats. While on Ground-based Midcourse Defense, David led the team responsible for designing, producing, and testing the C2 next generation Boost Vehicle, dramatically enhancing the reliability and effectiveness of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense system. David is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served as a Combat Engineering Officer and led combined action teams during Operation Iraqi Freedom. David grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and currently lives in the Phoenix area with his family where he is an avid swimmer and runner.

Rodney B. Woods - Vice President and Chief Clinical Engineer for Medical Management, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee

In his current role, Rodney guides BlueCross’ strategic clinical operations to streamline processes and improve member health outcomes. He provides leadership for Total Health Management in aligning technical, clinical and operational areas with analytics and medical management to achieve optimal efficiency and service. Rodney previously served as Vice President of Business Engineering at BlueCross. Under his leadership, the department received several performance excellence and achievement awards. He implemented departmental training, staff development and career progression programs and developed the Business Education University for the department. He also initiated the alignment of strategic business guidelines between the business engineering group and key stakeholders. In his tenure at BlueCross, he has also served as President and CEO of Riverbend Government as well as Business Administrator and Vice President of Medicare operations. He has also been BlueCross’ director of compensation, benefits and human resource information systems.

Dan West - Senior Engineering Director - Silicon Valley Tech Industry

Dan is a senior director at a Silicon Valley company. In his role, he leads an engineering organization of 500+ engineers; with people located world-wide. Throughout his career Dan has developed a reputation for building leaders and bringing innovation to organizations focused on product quality. Dan was born and raised in the Bay Area. He’s lived within 30 miles of Silicon Valley his entire life. When he’s not working Dan enjoys spending time travelling with his family and rooting for the San Jose Sharks.

Rhonda Hoerle - President - Decatur Mold Tool & Engineering Inc.

Rhonda has served as President of Decatur Mold Tool & Engineering since February 2019. Building upon her long career in sales leadership at Thermo Fisher Scientific, she brings her passion for nurturing talent to this maker of plastic injection molds founded by her father in 1966. Rhonda and her family are committed to providing good careers to those in this small, rural town. Rhonda’s talents include professional selling skills, customer relationship management, streamlining processes, and building effective teams.

Rhonda graduated from Purdue University and splits her time between southern Indiana and Chicago. She enjoys exploring the Chicago culinary scene - especially with her son, Mitch, a chef. In Indiana, Rhonda can be found exploring the local walking trails. And her favorite way to indulge her travel bug is by visiting her daughter, Paige, in Erlangen, Germany.

Eldon Schaffer - CEO, Tekni-Plex Consumer Products

Eldon is a global P&L leader who rallies teams of people together, helping them overachieve by delivering unique solutions to customers that help them win in the market. His teams help customers deliver above market growth which in turn lead to above market sales and profit growth. Examples include turning Heinz Ketchup upside down and helping them achieve their highest market share in the history of their company. As the CEO of Tekni-Plex Consumer Products (approaching $1 billion in sales globally) Eldon is leading a team of dynamic individuals who leverage material science to help protect products, strengthen brands, and deliver sustainable innovation so that you can enjoy the freshest foods and best FMCG products every day. Previously, Eldon worked for AptarGroup where he led 2 of the 3 global divisions with sales of $350 million to $1.3 billion consistently helping his customers grow and deliver above market sales and profit growth. As a global multi-cultural leader, Eldon has lived in four different countries and has worked in all major nations around the globe. He completed his undergraduate work at University of Illinois and has an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He resides outside of Chicago with his wife and four children.

Matt Beckwith - Director of Customer Service, Clark Pest Control

Matt is proud to be a Contact Center Geek! Since putting on the headset for the first time as a directory assistance operator 25 years ago, he has spent his career building and leading customer service and sales call centers in industries such as telecommunications, banking, and health care. His passion for customer experience, technology, leadership, and professional development has led him to his current role leading customer contact operations for Clark Pest Control, one of the largest and most successful pest management companies in the US, headquartered in Lodi, California. In 2018 and 2019, Matt was named a top 50 thought leader in the contact center and customer experience space by ICMI and is a regular speaker at industry events. Matt also serves as a steering committee member for the Northern California Contact Center Association.

Hugh Halpern - U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) Director

Hugh Halpern is the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) Director, the agency’s chief executive officer. Prior to coming to GPO, Halpern held a succession of leadership positions during his 30 years on Capitol Hill, most recently as Director of Floor Operations for the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. During his career, he’s served half a dozen different committees in both policy development and procedural roles. He served as Staff Director leading the management and terms of debate on the House floor and in 2001 was named General Counsel for the newly established House Committee on Financial Services. During his tenure, the committee provided legislation addressing terrorist financing and money laundering, improving investor confidence in the wake of the Enron and WorldCom scandals and granting consumers tools to fight identity theft. During the 1990s, Halpern served on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he handled a variety of legislative issues, including automobile safety, insurance, FTC consumer protection and tobacco regulation. In 2018, he received the John W. McCormack Award of Excellence, the highest award given to a staff member in the House. The award recognizes a lifetime of bipartisan service to the House.

Yanek Korff - Co-Founder and COO, Expel

Yanek has served in information technology or security roles for over 20 years. Today he is a Co-Founder and the COO of Expel, a DC-area cybersecurity company. Yanek began his professional career as a systems administrator at Bell Atlantic and then Cigital. He moved on to Aol where he transitioned into a management role and eventually became responsible for much of Aol’s security infrastructure. In 2010, he joined Mandiant to build a new managed services business line to help customers mitigate the impact of security breaches conducted by state-sponsored attackers. Yanek graduated with a Computer Science degree from William and Mary, a Masters in the Management of Information Technology from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Yanek was the principal author for Mastering FreeBSD and OpenBSD Security, published by O’Reilly Media.
