Hi All,
I have a quick question for any Project managers in the Manager Tools / Career Tools community.
Does anyone have any experience with the The CompTIA Project+ certification? I am interested in furthering my studies/learning and think this might be the next project I undertake.
I am currently a System Administrator on mostly Windows Servers and applications, so have been through ( and still completing ) various Technical IT Courses. I wish to improve my Soft Skills, and believe some project management concepts might be worthwhile.
Thanks for your time, and I look forward to your responses.
Danny
Better than most...
Hello Danny,
CompTIA certs are generally respected in the US, and for project management PMI's PMP is more widely requested. I suspect in the UK some sort of PRINCE2 cert is more widely sought.
CompTIA is not a bad choice.
