Do I close an interview if it is a second interview with the same person?
I have the first round of interviews for an internal promotion coming up tomorrow, Tuesday 23 JUL. I plan to close both the hiring manager and the HR manager.
If I am successful, the process moves to a second round of interviews that would include more stakeholders. It would also include the hiring manager for a second interview. Do I close this interview with the hiring manager once again? Do I modify it?
The position is for fundraising in a non-profit, Christian institution of higher education. It's essentially sales, so I don't mind coming on strong. I just want to avoid the awkwardness of redundancy.
Thanks for the advice!
Simple Answer..
Yes. You still want this offer right? In fact, even more?
So tell them that.

Should have guessed.
Thanks for spelling it out, Wendii. Round 1 passed. Onto the second round of closing . . .
