Hi MTers,
Is it appropriate to send a quick and really short thank you to everyone I interviewed and talked with from the company after an automated rejection email? I only got to the first round, but they were very nice, and the company is amazing. I'm not sure if they know I was rejected, probably not. I won't talk about my needs/expectations at all, just this:
1) thank for considering me despite not being chosen; 2) 1 sentence mention of how they were helpful; 3) thank & wish them the best.
Is this unprofessional somehow? Maybe this makes them feel awkward and unpleasant? Don't want to do that.
Thanks!
