I have been interviewing with a company for three months and they finally made me a verbal offer. I responded that I would take the job both verbally and in writing.

I asked for it in writing and they got nervous. Seems the funding got cut. I almost gave me notice but I remembered: "Until you got something..." and technically I had nothing.
