Hi Everyone,
I'm sure I heard Mark mention a book about Managing confrontation in a podcast, but can't remember the name of the book or podcast! Was mentioned in passing not really in the topic of conversation.
Does anyone know this book or can anyone recommend a good book on understanding the body's response to confrontation and how to manage myself and a confrontational situation?
Many thanks
Mick (UK)
I believe the book your
I believe the book your looking for is "Dealing with people you can't stand". It's mentioned in Mark's amazon book reviews. I'm not sure about the podcast though.
I have nearly completed the book and it's extremely useful on pinpointing specific behavioral tendencies/ communication styles and how to navigate communication with each one. It really gives a nice break down on why people behave the way they do.
Another really good one...
is "Crucial Conversations: Tools for talking when the stakes are high" by Kerry Patterson.
Thanks both, I'll check them
